Preamble

Acentury ago, Swami Vivekananda, the great disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and the founder of Ramakrishna Math & Mission, from his absolute realization had set prolific education standards for the building of a better nation. He put forward noble, practical, and novel ideas about education where he laid emphasis on science & religion. He was greatly concerned with the education standards of India in comparison with the western countries. He wanted his country to be strong in science, technology as also in religion. He believed that a balanced implementation of the trio would bring moral and industrial renaissance & remove poverty.

Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira Computer Centre, was started in 1993 to answer the needs of IT revolution. The Computer Centre, located at 313 G. T. Road is an established force in rendering vital computer education to the general community at a reasonable cost.

Considering India as an emerging superpower in the comity of nations to equip the country with enlightened citizens morally upright, intellectually analytical, emotionally balanced and technically competent.

Mission Statement 

To train young men of Bengal in State of the art computer education in answer to the need based requirements, coupled with moral intellectual virtues through Co-curricular activities like Vedic prayer, Quiz contest, Games and Sports etc.

Aims & Objectives

To provide demand driven computer education and allied services to all categories as a service to the society.

• Organize customized corporate training programs.

• Spread computer literacy in rural areas.

• Provide IT enabled services (Software development, Data processing, DTP, etc.).

• Impart education in soft skills like Spoken English, Secretarial Service, Public Relations, etc.

• Take up consultancy work for the State Govts., Local Bodies in the areas of Education, Logistics etc.

• Arrange online exams.
